Covid-19 Update

June 25, 2020

At Manuel Creative Arts Academy it is our mission to provide a safe and caring environment where students of all ages and backgrounds can learn and explore the creative arts over various platforms. When I first wrote about a safe environment for lessons it was largely about emotional safety, never did I imagine that we would find ourselves in the middle of a global pandemic where learning the arts could be deadly. A safe place to learn is as essential as the arts themselves. To continue providing incredible creative arts education we have made several changes to our offerings.

In-Person Lessons & Classes

We are continuing at this time to offer limited in-person private lessons across most of our lessons and subjects, and we are looking into options to bring back group classes in a safe way.

Some of the ways we are working to protect everyone:

We continue to monitor all the emerging research and state and federal recommendations and are making adjustments to our academy policies. It is our goal to continue adding more in-person offerings; however, the safety of our students, families, and teachers is our highest priority.

Online Lessons & Classes

We are pleased to have been able to transition smoothly to online lessons and will be continuing to offer our full selection of online private music, theatre, and voice acting lessons. We currently are offering online classes in acting and voice acting with more classes coming soon.

In the near future, we will be launching our eLearning platform where you can dive into the creative arts at your own pace from any connected device. These amazing classes will range from bite-sized music theory lessons to full 30-minute children's music & dance classes.

Manuel Creative Arts Academy remains open to provide you and your family with safe options for learning and experiencing the creative arts. We look forward to seeing you in-person or online soon.
